Is it free?
Yes to start. Alias Classic, Taboo, Football, Junior and every country pack cost nothing. Draw & Guess, Easy Medium Hard, Who Am I?, Movies & TV and NBA are one-off purchases — and each one gives you a free try before you decide.
Do my friends need the app?
For a party round, no — you all share one phone. A challenge link opens in any browser, and they only need the app when they want to answer back or start their own game.
Which languages can I play in?
Twelve for Alias Classic: English, German, French, Croatian, Italian, Serbian, Swedish, Russian, Dutch, Bosnian, Slovenian and Spanish. The app's own interface is translated into nine.
Do I need an internet connection?
A party round works with no signal at all — the words live on the device, and so does Draw & Guess. Challenges and online play need a connection.
How many players do I need?
Three and up for a party round, four for Draw & Guess, and two for online play. Alias Junior works from age four, since every word has a picture beside it.
How does the split-screen clip work?
Your clue videos and your friend's reaction are filmed separately, then stitched by the app into one vertical clip. Save it, send it back, or dare somebody else to beat the score.
What happens to my videos?
They stay on your device until you send a challenge. Sending one uploads the clip so your friend can watch it, and you can remove your data at any time from the app.
Is Draw & Guess included?
It is a one-off purchase, with one free try so you can see it first. 800 drawing prompts per language, and no pen or paper needed.
What is Play with AI?
You explain out loud and the phone guesses your word, using on-device speech and language models. Or the AI gives the clues and you do the guessing.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Both — and a challenge recorded on one opens on the other.
